（中央社記者江明晏台北24日電）紐約時報報導，川普對蘋果執行長庫克說， 若蘋果願意將生產iPhone 手機的工廠搬回美國本土，政府願意提供大幅減稅，川普轉述，庫克回應「我明白」。
美國下任總統川普對紐約時報說，「最近很榮幸接到比爾蓋茲打來的電話，這通電話很棒，我們交談熱絡，我也接到庫克打來的祝賀電話。」
川普並透露與蘋果執行長庫克的通話內容，他對庫克表示，你知道對我來說，真正的成就之一是，當蘋果在美國建立一個或多家工廠生產自家產品，或而不是去中國大陸或越南。
對此，庫克並沒有明確表態，僅回應「我明白 (Iunderstand that)」。
川普接著說，將考慮給蘋果公司大幅削減企業稅，只要蘋果能將製造工廠搬回美國。
在大選期間，川普一直強調要讓流失到海外的製造業迴流美國本土，以給美國人提供更多就業。也曾公開說明，將對從中國進口的商品課稅。
根據國外科技網站 9to5mac報導供應商與經濟學家的看法，認為蘋果在美國進行全部或大部分製造的想法是不切實際的，在任何情況下都不會在美國創造就業機會，因為蘋果在美國缺乏必要製造技術，且如果生產移回美國，人工勞力的部分會改由機器代勞。
報導進一步表示，iPhone回美國本土製造，成本並不是一個巨大的障礙，分析指出，美國製造的iPhone將僅多花費30至40美元，許多人可能都願意支付溢價。1051124
